Whidbey Island Market Statistics

The real estate market on Whidbey Island has generally been improving since a very slow last quarter of 2008.  The number of single family homes and condominiums for sale peaked around August 2008, then steadily dropped until January 2009. 

Inventory has increased since January 2009, but at a much reduced rate compared to the same period in 2008.  Pending sales (homes under contract to be sold) had a slower start in first two months of 2009, but significantly increased in March and April, and at a higher rate than March-April 2008.   See more April 2009 Statistics:    whidbey-april-09-residential-stats
